Welcome to to the 3rd edition of Ancient Times. To join or remove your email address from our mailing list, simply send an email to Kevin or John. We always welcome suggestions or comments on this newsletter. So email us and let us us know what you think.

This issue features an article on a subject from my own personal area of interest, ancient counterfeits. The coins used to illustrate the article are from my own collection and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. This newsletter also features a couple of firsts for us. It is our first multipage edition and the first of a three part series featuring ancient, medieval and modern counterfeits. So settle back, relax and enjoy. - B&D

Warning! Incoming blatant commercial. When you get a chance, pay a visit to our Specials pages. They are larger than normal and feature a little bit of everything to entice and please our subscribers. At least we hope so. :}

Oh! One other item before we start, we would like to bring to your attention a new discussion list that has been formed (by yours truly). It is dedicated to the joys of ancient coin collecting and called Moneta-L. As of today, we have over 100 subscribers and more are joining each week. If you will pardon a little parental pride, I think that is pretty good considering the list is a little over a month old. For more information, including how to join click on the banner below, left.

While we are on the topic of discussion lists, if you are interested in buying or selling ancient coins then you owe it to yourself to join the ACM (Ancient Coin Market) list. It has been in operation for over a year and has over 500 subscribers. Highly recommended. For information on joining, click on the banner above, right. When you get there, tell Caesar we sent you. :}
